With summer well under way filling our lives with sunny days and warm still evenings where we can sit outside enjoying a nice cool beer*, what better musical accompaniment could you ask for than some chiptune Christmas carols? None, obviously. Hence… Big Giant Circles’ “Big Giant Christmas EP”.
I’m not going to say anything about this. What’s to say? Christmas and chiptunes, two of my favourite things, brought together into one wonderful, festive union.
Yuletide blessings on you, Big Giant Circles, for making the world a happier place.
OK, I am going to say something about it. My one year old son adores this album. In fact, just having it playing now he’s trying to climb up onto the computer, a happy smile on his face. Double blessings on you, Big Giant Circles.
[* Having built up a post buffer longer than a month**, I’m guessing at the weather. If by the time of this being posted London has vanished under a tsunami or the world has been plunged into an eternal nightmare of ice and snow I promise to feel suitably embarrassed.]
[** With a second baby on the way in September, how else am I supposed to stick to a weekly post schedule?]
